in the central-north part of the Mexican Republic, 376 Miles from México
City, and is surrounded by the states of: Jalisco, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí,
Coahuila and Durango. It has an area of 28,973 square miles, and is divided into
58 municipalities.

way they transform their pieces of silver, stone and textiles, into exceptional
works of art. These pieces can be bought in the most important malls and Craft
Centers in the city, such as: El Centro Platero de Zacatecas, in the Shopping
Center “El Mercado” and the “De la Mujer y de Artesanías”
shop, including the shops that are found distributed throughout the city. Other
regional crafts include: embroidered, woven and drawn thread textiles, knitted
garments, tablecloths, pitted belts, wrought ironwork, semiprecious stones, pieces
