OPENS FIRST RESORT IN MALDIVIANS
Best
Western International signed an agreement
with Blue Lagoon Investments Pvt. Ltd to
name the Best Western Madoogali Resort and
Spa as its first hotel in Maldives. The
event of appointment counted with the presence
of the President of The Maldive Republic,
Mr. Mohammed Nasheed, members of his office
and the minister of tourism. The agreement
one of the associates was signed between
Glenn de Souza, Vice President of Operations
in Asia for Best Western International and
Mr. Moosa Hassan, of Blue Lagoon Investment
Pvt Ltd, and the executive director of the
Best Western Madoogali Resort and Spa, programmed
to open doors in September, 2009.
"The
Maldives are known as one of ten more wished
destinations of the world and Best Western
is very taken pleasure in entering to this
market with this exceptional property "
Glenn de Souza declared. This property nowadays
is submitted to an extensive process of
remodeling that includes the complete renovation
of furniture. "We give the best welcome
Best Western as our associate in future,"
said Mr. Moosa Hassan. The executive assured
that Best Western's reputation of providing
products of luxury to accessible prices
was a decisive factor on having selected
a chain which associating.
"The
Maldives have been till now a destination
of luxury, but now with Best Western we
will be able to support this status while
we give the opportunity to more people to
experience their captivations", added.
