THE RIVIERA MAYA'S HOTELS OBTAIN MULTIPLE RECOGNITIONS

• Even when are not all the prizes or recognitions granted to the hotels of the Riviera Maya, undoubtedly they are an important sample of which this tourist destination possesses many of the best and the most beautiful hideaways of the Caribbean and the world.

Recently, the hotel BlueBay Grand Emerald, of the Riviera Maya, obtained the award "Elite Certified 2009", granted by the Elite Meetings, which admits to the establishments that demonstrate excellence in the areas of hospitality, food, beverages, service and comforts for meetings and incentives trips, a segment that receives increasingly attention of the hotels for representing an economic important opportunity in seasons in which the tourism of pleasure diminishes. The award adds to others got for the BlueBay Grand Emerald throughout this year, since "Elite Wedding Collection 2008 and 2009", that Beverly Clark granted for "the commitment of excellence in the service of a top experience of romance". In June 2009, the Mandarin Oriental hotel obtained the award "Best Design" in the category Resort, delivered by the Hospitality Design. By his part, the hotel Maroma Resort and Spa was recognized with "Ultimate Romance Award", granted by Island Destinations; besides, again in 2009, the prizes "Hotel Whit Best Beach" and "Hotel With Best Spa" delivered by the magazine Modern Bride appears in its recognitions.

This way also, Spa's services of the Maroma Resort and Spa, together with of the hotel The Tides, were considered among the Top 10 of the Spa in Mexico, according to the signature Spa Finder. The hotels Paradise La Bonita and Royal Hideway Playacar, added this year to their recognitions, the "Quality Assurance Award", delivered by the Leading Hotels of the Luxe. The hotel Rosewood Mayakoba entered in 2009 to the ranking of 100 better hotels, 18 being placed in the line in the world, and the number one in Mexico, in agreement to the publication Travel and Leisure in the list also there appears the Royal Hideway Playacar. In addition, Travel and Leisure located to the hotel Maroma Resort and Spa and to the Royal Hideway Playacar in the places 11 and 15, respectively, of the Top 15 of the Resorts in Mexico. To the already mentioned ones, it is necessary to add the "Travel and Leisure 500 World's Best Hotels" for the Fairmont Mayakoba and the hotel The Tides. Likewise, the Travel Age West reserved several of the prizes "Wave Awards" for this tourist destination, beginning for the "Best Destination for Beach Vacation", for being the Riviera Maya the best destination of beach of Mexico.
