RIVIERA MAYA PRESENT IN JAPAN

• There informed the FPTRM in the JATA-WTF / World Tourism Congress and Travel Fair realized in the city of Tokyo from September 18 to September 20.

From September 18 to September 20, the Tourist Board of Promotion of the Riviera Maya took part in the JATA-WTF / World Tourism Congress and Travel Fair realized in the Tokyo city, Japan, and that will serve to consolidate the image of the Caribbean destination in one of the markets with major potential of growth for Mexico. To the JATA Travel Mart represents an important number of organizations, principally offices of tourism of the whole world and is considered to be one of the biggest fairs so much by the countries participants as the number of attendees.

The JATA WTF 2008 registered thousand 150 organisms' representatives of 97 countries who benefited from an event that generates information, contacts and business for their products and services. For this year it estimates that around 30 thousand buyers represent, standing out executives and managers, principally of travel agencies and tourist companies of Japan, and more than 50 thousand visitors of the general public, interested in knowing the options of trips that offer the different countries. Of parallel form there will be realized the World Congress of Tourism JATA. The Japanese fair is one of the most important of the Asian market, since it attracts tourists of high buying power and that usually realizing long trips.
